Katherine and Grace came out to the house Friday night for a visit. Was really nice to have them both. We made a trip to DQ for a little snack and then back home. They both have unique and lovely personalities. Hard to believe it will be August and school will be starting in a couple of weeks - really what's with that!! All about schools and state and money.
I try not to run the AC all the time but the humidity has been oppressing. Today, it's 104 in the sun and I'm not in the sun anymore. Tried to get all my outside work done early. Jerry used his flame thrower on the weeds in the brick again (yesterday) and it was way too hot for that task. Does look great.
He's madly working to get his old car running reliably to take next weekend to the huge Monmouth Cruise In. Had fun decorating Sue's window with vintage car parts. Told her we should put Jerry in the window - I'm thinking vintage...
