Yesterday and today gave us record inches of rain. Combined with deep frozen ground it has caused flooding. This is the second time in the last few weeks we have had major rain totals. Most folks have water in their basements, ours is minor. We have a pretty good stream in the garage but it just exits the other side. The dogs loved the new adventure and no doubt new smells. We took a drive and several places had water over the roads and lots of topsoil has been washed away. Will be a rough ride for farmers this spring. The first picture is the Edwards Drainage Ditch across the road/east. It normally has water less than a foot deep but today it was close to seven foot. The second picture is the intake to the field south of us. This intake is about 4 ft. square. The last picture is not a stream but simply a portion of the corn field that has washed out from the power of the moving water.
