Thanksgiving

The old hymn "Joy Comes In The Morning" is certainly apt for this Thanksgiving morning.

Have most all the food in ready stages, just got the pumpkin pie out of the oven.  Ian and Sue's families will be here today, with the exception of Max (at his girlfriend's).  Trents' always go to Judy's, Carmen and Angies are all staying close to the South, Megan in Colorado with Tim's family and Keitra was/wasn't/was/wasn't coming so not sure on her.

Gracie was here a awhile last night and we watched the old version of "Frosty The Snowman" - one of her favorites especially since it had the song all the way through it so we could sing.

We met with our investment guy and a pension/corp attorney yesterday about my pension problems.  Think we know which direction will be the best - although not especially fun.  And this too shall pass.

About done with my shopping and have the top of Gracie's quilt completed.  Should (hopefully) have no problems with the backing - she said with confidence and total inexperience.

Time to wrestle the bird into the oven.

If you're reading this, you're no doubt family and in that, you're our Blessings.  Have a great Thanksgiving!
