Gracie had to miss her singing debut at church due to temp and sore throat, but, has recouped pretty good by today. Kate has recouped from the stomach flu and Trent is almost there.
Paul received good news this week. The Monmouth City Council voted to hire him as their development idea man. He calls it his dream job and we're happy for them.
Megan flies in tonight for a week with family. We'll be having Christmas with Megan and Keitra's family Christmas eve. Bradley will be the center of the evening.
Ian and Sue's families will be here Christmas day and Gracie will be the center of every one's attention. A three year old will make things magical again. We are fortunate for all our grandchildren (all thirteen) but even the teens get in the mood with the little ones having so much fun.
Trent's have decided to not be with the rest of us Christmas day and we will surely miss them. First time since either he or Kate have been born that they won't be a part of our day. We hope they come by Sunday to have Christmas with us.
Carmen will be hosting the Georgia families and it should be nice to have them all together - wish they all lived closer. Wayne has retired this month and I expect to hear fishing stories on a more regular basis. David has recouped from his surgery and illnesses. Angie is excelling at her cosmetology schooling - no surprise. Grandma Marge seems to be healthy so far this winter. Faye says she is moving to Chicago with the boys.
I'm going to try to get some baking done tomorrow. Seems it just hasn't happened much this season. Shopped for groceries today so no excuse other than time.
Finished Gracie's quilt today - finally. Certainly not close to perfect but done and will be the only one I EVER do. Some things you just have to try before you know you never want to do them EVER again. I'm sure a blanket will mean little in the whole Christmas gift scheme but it was made from the heart. Jerry has Bradley's filling station completed. We are a go.
More snow is suppose to start Thursday and into Friday but they have taken the huge blizzard out of the picture - a possibility of six inches but shouldn't stop travel. And that's the report for the night!
