The Man With A Gun

Here's Jerry with his new propane flame thrower weed killer.  He's taken over gardening for me right now.  The sidewalk had to be weeded or mowed it was so awful.  I had put down roundup but it barely wilted them.  He hand pulled and then went to Menards for this little baby.  Looks really good and he's so into the whole manly thing with a new piece of noisy burning equipment.  Aw, the smell of propane, weeds, mulch and fortunately not house.  Apparently, he was wearing the cell phone in case he needed to make a quick 911 call.

Took a drive tonight and went to Johnson State Park.  It was raining so just a nice drive.  Stopped by the Purple Onion in Annawan for some supper.  Let's just say "Dad would have like it" and it's not on our need to return list.  Not bad, just everyone loving it was using a walker - or will be soon.
