This was Gracie's first try at using scissors and she did quite well.
Shapes are endless to a creative mind. She would cut a shape and THEN decide what it was. The red shape laying on the right was deemed a giant's boot. I'm sure Chagall used the same technique!
She mastered where to put the fingers and thumb. She was especially apt at giant's shoes and very very tiny snowman hands.
Amazing the movement of cutting instantly required the tongue.
I'm sure with this look and concentration we have great art projects in the future.
