The blue tone picture was taken about 5:45 pm and the rest a few minutes ago (11 pm). It appears we have about 5 inches of really wet snow and pretty strong winds swirling in from the northeast. Even our night hunter/protector, Harley, had his robe on and was in for the night. Neighbors said they had eighteen deer in the yard the other morning - no wonder he barks all night. Dixie, on the other hand, sleeps covered all night and patrols during the day - she's a fair weather hunter. Yes, the snow is beautiful - yes, I'm wishing for spring. Isn't everyone?
Had Bible study here last evening. Spent the today reading and finished my book and the Journal Star. Did a little research on model train gardens. Was nice to talk with Trent. Jerry worked on the sliding door for the stairway and napped. Jim DeCrane stopped by and asked if we wanted the old foundation rocks from the shed he just burned - oh, yeah!!!!! Even said he'd load them for us if we brought the trailer down.
