Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

Walked down to get the mail and it's much colder than it looked (19 degrees) and windy. Plus, the snow feels a little like sleet on the skin. I'd say we had about 6-8 inches so far.

Really pretty fluffy stuff. No good packing, snowman or sledding but would be easy snow angels. Drifting easily; walked in some up over my knee high boots.

Is anyone besides me tired of hearing about poor Washington DC and their snow event? Don't they realize half the states have more than they did on a regular basis. Whimps. I vote all the media that live and covers DC be reassigned to North Dakota - now.

Jerry has short timer attitude and stayed home today, again. Has his computer and phone and works on things but is willing to take it easy - easing into retirement. Headed outside to do his macho move snow thing. Getting his fourteen layers of clothes on and looks a little like Ralphie's brother on "You'll shoot your eye out" Christmas story. OK, enough making fun of Jerry for the day.
