Home Schooling Issue

Had Bible Study tonight at Kris and Mike Wexell's home.  Nice to have everyone get together again.  One of the things we discussed was government's infringement upon our private rights.  Patti has home schooled all six of their children (the oldest getting married this past summer as shown in the picture and their youngest is 13.)  Tami Boock also homes schools their two children.  There is a bill in front of the House that wants to mandate allowing government officials to come into home school homes without announcement.  They want to have it legal that the home schoolers must allow access any time any day.  They also want the ability to legally tell the home school parents what school supplies to buy and how to use them.  Needless to say, home schoolers are not in agreement.  Patti went to Springfield to do join the 4,000 home schooling parents in a peaceful protest.

Grace was over a little bit last night and we decorated the window with Easter Bunnies and cleaned out her toy closet.  She was very helpful on both projects.

Tomorrow we are heading to Cambridge to an estate sale that Jerry is just sure will be full of wonderful objects that he needs and no one else will want.

Made some more wine wraps today.
