We wore our Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts with "Fight Like A Girl" on them in support of Diane Gradert who had her breast removed less than a month ago. She will begin chemo next week. In spite of the "girls" now being singular, she is doing pretty good - much to do with attitude. Since there are few people who have not had someone they care about touched by cancer, we had an informative and lively discussion on wigs vs. scarves vs. caps vs. nothing. Another on the state of falsies - bean bag material, jell, foam, cotton, and reconstructive surgery. Friends can talk, help, suggest, laugh and sympathize. And, in the end go home thinking, "There but for the Grace of God go I."
