The counter/sink installation didn't happen yesterday because "they were having trouble with the sink fitting." Not sure why they would wait until the morning of the install to fit the sink. Then, we heard nothing else. Lowes (the Illinois contact) will be calling them Monday, also.
They had originally told me they had not fabricated a large sink of soapstone but felt it was within their ability. Think the worst - hope for the best sometimes means my expectations are met. Urg.
Grace stayed overnight and we had lots of fun. Sue, Max and Paul came out. It was Sue's last day at the Registered Mail and the boys joined the usual Friday night card game. Gracie has finally warmed up to Sue thanks in part to Sue knowing a little favorite song. After Marla picked her up today, they were going to an Easter egg hunt. Just the right age.
I finally did a mega computer cleaning and it's made a huge difference. Time for bed.
