A few of us had supper this evening. The lady on the right is Patti's mother-in-law but the other two worked for me first in Kewanee and then in Galesburg.
Great fun and a lot of catching up and I no longer have to be "boss" and can enjoy it all, too.
Grace Elizabeth had been here today (Ian went back on days) and I had totally forgot the dinner until less than an hour before. Grace and I spent an intense movie experience (yes, DVD/VCR is working) viewing Monsters, Inc. She was terrified when it first came on but after crawling onto my lap and hanging on to my arm, we proceeded. After awhile she was enjoying it all.
Tomorrow I have the Freedom House Emergency Board meeting - the State has officially cut domestic abuse funding 50%. Setting this budget will not be easy or pretty.
