Party to Kewanee

The Illinois Power ladies met in Galesburg last evening to celebrate Debbie Johnson finally being transferred back to Kewanee. It's been seven years since we closed that building and moved everyone to the Burg. Almost all are back in Kewanee except those in substation and a few that have been promoted within Galesburg. Debbie is thrilled.

I have strange relationships with these ladies in terms of IP. I hired one, refused to promote one, disciplined one, counseled one, and comforted one when she lost her husband (my coworker). And, we still remain friends in spite of or because of - who knows which. So glad to be retired as the more things change - the more they stay the same.
