Potlucking through vacation

We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs and everyone brought food. Second evening of potlucks and I could get used to eating every one's good food. Always fun that there are no duplications and always good food by these local ladies.

Al and Shelly have done a lot of work at the pond since the last time we went to a picnic. Shelly does the landscaping and it's really enhanced the setting. They had been over Friday evening and Shelly kept commenting on this one daylily that I have in many locations. I took her a start of it and there is enough for her house and at the pond. Just about the time we all were headed home, the night mist rolled in, the blue solar floating glass balls came on and the bats started swooping in for their supper.

In addition to Al and Shelly, Jim DeCrane and his girlfriend, Greg and Missy and their two children, Shane Kaiser and his girlfriend and their five month old baby girl, Sage, Larry Morse and Julie Ericson were there. The men & boys played horseshoe, the women & girls played hillbilly horseshoe and I took pictures, drank some wine and enjoyed the peacefulness.
